Bruxelles and Bruges, up so close...

Not many cities have such a bad publicity, such as Bruxelles... First thing that comes to mind is administration, EU legislation, architectural wonders of European institutions.. bored already? All that Bruxelles represents - if you've never been there.

Few days in this Belgian capital is enough to change the picture and paint a colorful, tasty, delicious painting that will always be a nice memory to come to. Whether you eat mussels and Belgian fries, or have a waffel snack on the street, the city centre is filled with restaurants, caffes, pastry shops and street stands that make it impossible to resist the temptation - and it is absolutely sufficient to even try - you're on vacation, so have a break...

I am always impressed when a nation makes such a simple brand - waffel, or even better - fries. You can make it in the street, it's affordable, it's easy to serve, and it's well combined with beer - liquid Belgian brand - really the best in the world.

As smarter people already said, best things in life are simple. Just don't mistake simple for plain, because Belgium is all but plain. Bruges, other than really astonishing architecture, offers dozens of small chocolate shops that will make you wanna come again...
